The ABC Ministry Center Internship is a 6-12-month discipleship experience for young adults (newly married or single) whose commitment to Christ drives them to learn and serve beyond their present circumstances. Each internship provides an apprentice type of relationship with members of Adirondack Bible Chapel to challenge the interns to excel in leadership, ministry, and counseling skills.

Interns will have an opportunity to live and work on the Ministry Center grounds located in the gorgeous Adirondack Mountains of Northern New York. They will be mentored by a loving body of believers and will have opportunities to grow in their individual gifts and talents through service in the church and community. Newly married couples will have time to spend together strengthening their marriage and learning to serve alongside one another in a God- honoring union. But the most important goal of the internship program is to ground young adults in the Word of God and to equip them to live to the glory of God and in the service of God with the rest of their lives.

Ministry Center Interns will assist the leadership of the Ministry Center in carrying out daily needs of the center and church body. They will also participate in a variety of projects based on the season and stage of the ministry center including: agricultue, horsemanship, construction, maintenance, child care, music and youth work.  In some situations, interns may also be involved in community events and have opportunities to serve in area outreaches (city missions, prisons, local churches).
During the extent of their stay, Ministry Center Interns are under the supervision and mentorship of Adirondack Bible Chapel. By the end of the program, our desire is to see interns prepared spiritually and physically to step confidently into whatever ministry or career they feel God is directing them to next and to humbly exalt Christ with their lives.
